Graham Galloway

Managing Director

Graham is a qualified Accountant and joined Michael Ward Ltd in 1997 as Financial Director to organise the business to cope with rapid growth. In 2006 he led a management buy out along with Paul Mills and Paul Delanty, of the founders, Michael and Sue Ward.

Since then he has led the reorganisation and diversification of the company to create an SME group consisting of Lostock Holdings Ltd (commercial property rental and holding company), Lostock Motor Works (Bosch car and LCV MOT and garage services), Michael Ward Ltd (fleet refrigeration services, commercial and air conditioning services) and Fleet Refrigeration Parts Ltd (wholesale aftermarket transport refrigeration spares).

Graham has a particular interest in the IT systems of Michael Ward Ltd and has overseen the development of their web based system and the introduction of mobile applications to aid and support the field engineers.

Graham writes “Our engineers are key to our business, they are our ambassadors and have constant direct contact with our customers. It is our aim to make sure they have the best training possible and are properly equipped for mobile working in testing conditions. We want them connected to the rest of the business in real time as part of a network, the technologies we have introduced allow this which in turn allows us to communicate efficiently with our customers.”

Graham is committed to ensuring that Michael Ward Ltd is the first name people think of in the transport refrigeration industry by providing high quality cost effective service that is second to none.

Married with 3 teenage children, in his spare time Graham plays and watches football and enjoys cycling, commuting by bike to work whenever he can.
