Tis the season to be jolly…and woolly! With it being the time of goodwill and giving, our team at Michael Ward Ltd decided to spread a bit of Yuletide cheer for a good cause and don festive jumpers for Save the Children’s annual Christmas Jumper Day last Friday.
Sporting bright reds and vibrant greens, the team joined the rest of the nation in the fun, wearing silly sweaters depicting Rudolfs, elves, wintry scenes, with Managing Director, Graham Galloway joining in with his merry jumper showing a rather misfortunate Santa (check out the picture below!)
The whole team enjoyed taking part, including having fun with Christmas decorations and spreading a bit of Merry Christmas cheer around our offices and premises.
Businesses and schools up and down the country ‘got silly for a serious cause’ donating £2 and donning cheery Christmas Jumpers in a bid to ‘make the world better with a sweater’. Social Media also saw a flurry of activity with participants sharing pictures of the fun under the hashtag #ChristmasJumperDay.
Save the Children are a global charity that works with children and their families in some of the most deprived countries in the world providing them with better healthcare, education and even technology to help improve their standard of living and well-being.
At the time of writing Save the Children have raised an impressive £535, 618 via fundraising for Christmas Jumper Day, which was launched in 2012. If you still have money to pay in you can do so here. Congratulations to all those who fundraised!
On behalf of the entire Michael Ward Ltd team, we would like to wish you a very Happy and safe Christmas and a brilliant New Year!
